Elaine Murphy grew up in Dublin. She studied at the National College of Ireland and now lives in Sarasota, Florida. She is a versatile artist. Much of her work is 'Figurative Abstact'. Her love of animals and living in a tropical climate has influenced her 'Safari Collection' which is colourful and flowing in character. Elaine's Father Mike is a patron of the art's and this influenced Elaine's career as did time spent working with the well known designers and artists Zandra Rhodes, Gastaldi and Sergio Bustamante.
